These guys are my local dealers and I was contacted on Tues about this car. They "currently have offers $30+ above MSRP"..... asking for a bidding war.

They told me the same thing. They are holding out for $50k over sticker. *** that! Let them keep it and wait. That's just plain stupid IMO.

I saw it today in person and it's gorgeous but not worth that much over sticker! They are hoping for some Silicon Valley kid comes in with a blank check. That's almost verbatim what the told me. Whatever.... I'll wait.

I saw the GT3 at Rusnak Porsche and they are asking 30k over. I was told it's because of the "Asian Bevrrly hills in Passdena is the reason for the mark up. They pay crazy money for a Porsche because in China the cars are cheaper".

That's the explanation I got.

Stevens Creek Porsche is notorious for their sales tactics, and since they are closest to me (only 5 miles away), I have given them 3 opportunities to sell me 3 different Porsches, 09 911 C2S, 13 911 C2S, and 15 Panamera GTS. They always dropped communications with me when I want to pay less than MSRP.

However, on the other side of the coin, I want to thank them for pushing me away as a customer because they motivated me to find much better deals elsewhere!
