I been to WGI one day in 3.8RS and ran a ****ty 2:10, Just couldn't drive that day.I think it should have been a 2:06 if I had more time. I need 3-4 days to get fastish.
A 991 is a couple seconds faster,
My first day at WG last month in the crapbox 200HP Eclass '83SC after one day I ran 2:24 my last laps in the enduro that weekend were 2:13. Track record I think 2:11.
I'm sure a 991 will run 2:05. Put tires on and a good driver and it's going to be close to 2:00 flat.

Anyone else have times at COTA? Turns out that I'll likely be going there for the first time at the end of August, borrowing my cousin's 991 GT3.

My time at Road Atlanta were 1:35.8 when the car was stock. Did a 1:35.2 after my track alignment, but that was with some traffic and warmer weather. When the weather cools down a bit, I think I can shave another second or two off my time with some fresh Trofeo's.

Were these times on MPSC2s or Trofeo's?

2:25s would be good in a 991GT3 with fresh dunlops/mpsc2s. If it's your very first time at COTA, anything under 30 would be a strong performance.

Yes; on nice cool December 5, with pretty fresh Trofeo Rs and some camber (2.2 deg) but not still not enough, managed a 2:24.2 and several other 24s, but tires always go away with excessive pressure buildup. It would be best to have someone to bleed tires down, as I really don't like starting with 23 psi, which is what I think it needs,

I started cold at 26 F and 25R. My hot pressures in my last session were 33 PSI all the way around But tire temperatures showed the center still hotter than the outside edge, so it's telling me I want hot pressure of probably 31 or 32 PSI. That's consistent with what I have read about Trofeo Rs
