$360 sounds more than reasonable for a try. How will they build up the missing metal? I'm not sure I'd want it welded.

Fair question and I don't know. The wheel has been there since this morning. I am looking into it though. I will give you guys a breakdown when I know.

I don't believe they will add any material back. Most likely just smooth it out by sanding and repaint. Now if there a chunk or a crack then they would weld. But I do not know the guy you are using process. I just know how vendors around my area would do the repair. I do know that if done right it will look just fine.

Spoke to them today. They said it would be "machined" down since it was not very deep. Sanded and painted. Color matched. We'll see next Tuesday. Thanks...

That's the process that has been performed on one of my wheels. $360 seems kind of steep but is worth it if the repair is top notch.

Hmm, for $360 I think I would just pay about 3x more and get a new wheel.

Does seem steep. I would say about $150 tops.
