Why do you say the manual has been neutered? I have enough flappy paddle cars and was thinking of a manual M3 or M4.

I went with scud GT4 RR sport and Audi S6.... Tried to add 2016gt3 but no allocation came up for my order. Dropping RR for x5m and adding gen2 r8 coming next year. Need more garage space

+1 A crime that Audi doesn't bring cars like RS4 Avant and A6 All Road Diesel to US.

Everything felt too light and sloppy; clutch pedal, shift action. Nasty drivetran clunking whenever pedal was depressed.

My manual E60 535i was way better and forget trying to compare it to anything like a 997.2 RS.

Another reason I sold it. Wanted manual and annoyed me that they screwed it up.

My .02 - you'll find lots fans on the BMW forums.

You'll also find lots of enthusiasts on the BMW forms who believe the M3 died with the E90/2/3.

I do think e90 M3 was the best sounding and fun to drive. Drove it on the track easy to toss around. Having a tough time finding a replacement for my M5. The panni GTS will be a new model in 2017 may have to wait. Need a 4 door fast for family.
