I know the feeling! That was one of my reasons, too. Been trolling for sale ads ever since...

Ok. I won't. Just give me a garage spot for my GT3 in Roswell and I'll keep it. ;-)

I agree. I predominantly use my GT3 as a daily drive in Sydney traffic.

I have not lost the smile as it starts up. I know there are more practical cars as a daily drive but not as much fun as the GT3.

Ok. If I have a garage space.. I keep the car. Simple. :-). And if it really happens, it's rennlist at its finest.

Undertand OP's reason to change but this is the first time I heard someone preffered M4 over 991 Turbo (I assume on said turbo) for a DD.
May I ask why? This subject interest me since I was offered an M4 recently but I find out that even a base 991 carrera outgun it on the track.

BMW's even M4's depreciate quickly. 40 to 50 percent in 2 years. I can't imagine a M4 being better than a turbo.

Leave the M4 outside it won't hurt it for the year or so you keep it.

Because this:

I don't have room in the garage for another car, so I looked at Turbo, C2S, GTS, and nothing came close to the GT3 - they were all just disappointing - if I own a 911, it has to be a GT3.
Let's just be happy for the OP, and not question the decision. For whatever reason.

Sure, at the same price, of course I pick the turbo. And I know the m4 is not a track monster. But it is enough (I think) to keep me happy on the track for a couple years. And it's 100k less than a turbo.

The problem, to me, is that once you own a gt3, no other 911 compares, so everything is a bit disappointing.

I have no interest in dd a 911. I want one to go drive hard when I have some time to do that... be it in the mountains or on the track. and short of building a garage (which I can't take on as a side project right now), no room for that.

I drove the turbo. It was awesome. But given the > $150k price point, it's not what I want / need out of 911
