I think my favorite PTS color has to be Voodoo blue but not sure it completely suits the RS?? Maybe it needs to be more cutting, in your face like Viper green?

I have an early 911 that is mint green and only in very rare light is it like the photo, noce colour though. It also fades very fast to an almost off white and I ve had the car painted three times in 15 years.
This one? It's Fuchsia, but last I checked it wasn't approved.

I forget who made those photochops, but I really dig the RS graphics they made. They really fit the car well. The RS without graphics looks like it's missing something and those ones fit the bill. They're new, yet familiar. They break up the large expanse of painted property as well as give a chance for a little bit of contrast and additional color. They also make it just a little more sporty but not over the top and in your face. They remind me a lot of the 997.2 RS 4.0's graphics. I was kinda surprised that Porsche didn't offer some sort of RS graphics this go around like all the other GT3RS's before it.

+2 - I'm going to get some decals made. Nothing too in your face but I like what they did on these images. I think you need to stay away from the hood and roof given the shape there.

Mint Green

Riviera Blue (Voodoo will look better, Maritime is like an ugly UV shade if you ask me)

I love green. That green looks more like pure green than viper green to me. I want whatever is closest to Kawasaki green which I love.

Yeah, it was posted as Viper Green which is why I said supposed to be - think it's hard to capture the subtle difference in Photoshop.

RAL 6018 (Glebgrun) seems to be considered closest to Kawasaki Green, but not sure how close the Porsche Glebgrun is to RAL 6018.

RE: Your "not sure how close the Porsche Glebgrun is to RAL 6018."

I believe PAG PTS Gelbgrün, color code 137, think its pretty close to what we see in RAL 6018.

Historically, it looked like this in the period:

As a recent late 997 era PTS color done by PAG, it looked like this:

re: In case you are wondering what RAL stands for!

Reichs-Ausschuß für Lieferbedingungen und Gütesicherung

RAL is used for information defining standard colors for paint and coatings and is the most popular Central European Color Standard used today. The RAL Colors are used in architecture, construction, industry and road safety (traffic signals, for instance). RAL Classic System is mainly used for varnish and powder coating but nowadays there are reference panels for plastics and other materials as well.
