Precisely. When I bought the singer my time horizon was my kids adulthood. It really is unique to me and my family because of the story behind it and the emotions and memories created in the process. Thinking in this way seems foreign to some on this thread, to each his own. Some things I don't see as disposable "stuff" passing through, others do.
May your children wait many, many years to get it out of your very old, cold hands. Enjoy.
