Manny , great to see your posting here and an RL member were honored
and Thank you for your Leadership; your point makes cents.
Secret M I would caution you about the PCA it can become involving
You may find yourself having Breakfast once a month with a bunch of car
guys and gals , or doing a Rally drive to eat a bunch of shrimp or tour
some awesome private car collection , or in a my case find yourself climb the
DE run groups driving 24 track days in your first year of membership with
your brand new leased 911; gee I wonder what one gets for 46 bucks a
your local Country Club.
Join you will have fun , if only to enjoy monthly mags !

You should join in. The magazine alone will more than cover the annual dues. On top you have events, social gatherings, car corrals if you visit tracks durning big races, etc.
Well worth it.

Definitely worth joining, and the variety of experience makes it possible to tailor your own activities at PCA, from track days to socials to fun runs, and the annual Porsche Parade which is great fun.
As others have said, the monthly magazine is easily as good or better than many of the commercial magazines you get on the news stands.

I joined about 12 years ago and at first did nothing with it.
But PCA racing is very well run and a lot of fun. Despite the licensing process!!

Magazine under Pete Stout is fantastic. Great articles and vendors. Also, DE but depends on chapter. Here in NYC we have access to a half dozen chapters. I prefer some to others.

You're right. It's very addictive. I joined in 1989 at 23. Never thought I'd ever meet the people I met, drive some of my favorite Porsches and of course, do things I only read about (like racing at Daytona, Sebring, Watkings Glen, etc).
Not a bad little club.
