Yep 400K. Special is a neat car but not worth double in my estimation.

$350-380 depending on miles, options, and 2014 or 2015.

Agree as well but the other side of the comparison is the 458 suspension while brilliant on the street is too soft for track use. I was 4 seconds a lap slower at COTA in the 458 then the .2RS. Both on Hoosiers. The 458 needed a much stiffer setup to be effective at the track.

For 2010 cars yes, if you want one with the factory maintenance plan (2012+) and remaining factory warranty (2013+) you'll pay $225-250 for a coupe or $250-275 for a spider.

I was thinking 2011 as the sweet spot. Factory maintenance worth a 1000 per year. Factory warranty is 3 years. a 2013 is not going to have much warranty left not a reason to pay a big premium. Very little difference in 458's.

I have a 2011 with 3.5K miles it's worth about 200K.

I have driven a 458 at COTA (not mine) it was a lot of fun. It is much better than my skills and did not feel soft. I would not be faster in a GT3. YMMV.
