Understandable but I would think lots of research before pulling the trigger.

Oh and here I thought that was what the passenger footwell net option was for.

How do you research it? Only way to tell is to drive it and live with it, reviews are good for pictures and not much else. I'm fortunate to get invited to some test drive days at a track, but I still don't end up keeping cars I buy very long.

I'm hopeful I'll love my GT3 RS, but who knows until I live with it.

The 458 has been out and somewhat improved since 2010...the research is out there...which was adequate for me...I'm wasn't going to wait until the fall or later to finally find out if I would get a build or not. When PCNA snoozed, they lost my biz. If I got an RS build tommorrow I would decline it at this point. I don't go to the track enough to enjoy that car properly...like all things...different strokes for different folks. If I had the garage space, I would love to have both...since I don't, the Prancing horse is my triple crown winner.

To my biggest surprise I would argue the opposite. I had the opportunity to buy last week a 458 spider 2013 at whole sale price. When I test drove it and I was able to push it hard it just didn't give the exilaration I was expecting. So I drove my GT3 and the 458 back to back....I kept the GT3. But that's me

My car's for sale with a smidge more miles and a smidge above MSRP to recoup my costs while I wait for the RS: https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...t-buckets.html

Beautiful car and has the buckets. Basically new and at a good price when compared to what the dealers are getting for used 1GT3s.

Would have to agree on the 458. Was my last ride and it is different than the GT3. Need both......

Too bad 458 is almost double the price, if it was same price as GT3, I'd go 458.

Not really double unless you have to have a new one. Many sub 5k miles cars to be had for 200k.

Wow. That's quite a drop. What is the going rate for a used Speciale?

Everybody has their reasons. I bought a 997.1 2s then in 4 months traded to a 997.2 4s then in 3 months traded to a f430. I got nervous really why am I doing it but if you dont want them, buy the next thing. I did not loose money anyway, sold and traded same amount. Isnt that fun!
