I believe the front splitter extends higher up the front wheel arch so canards wouldn't be necessary. As for your question, I'm not sure if adding canards afterwards would adversely affect or enhance the aerodynamics, but I'm sure it would depend on your usage.

What I've heard is that if you put on canards you probably must adjust the rear wing tp get balance.

The 991 GT3RS has Huge vents in the front carbon fenders, plenty of aero for front downforce. The canards will direct airflow away from the "turbo" ducts and possible rear wing. I'm sure, at a minimum it will disrupt the set up and as the car has plenty of front aero I wouldn't mess with it

I put bigger ones on my 3.8RS with cup lip, balance it it with more angle in wing plus Gurney flap.

Can't image a new RS needing more downforce..

I just like the look of this small spoilers in the front. But if they will mess the aerodynamics i think i can live without them ;(((( sad

Most likely at average road speeds the canards are essentially for show. If you do however take your car to the track and attain higher speeds it will throw the car's factory balance out of whack. So answer lies in what you intend.

^^ Yes. The factory spends a lot of time and money fine tuning the balance with the aero package and suspension. Anything you do to change that will change the balance. Of course it depends on how fast you are going. You don't have to be on the track to get the car over 100 mph and perhaps in a little areo imbalance... Throw in a wet surface and you amplify the effects.

Obviously I've not driven the RS yet, but PAG normally sets up cars with a tendency towards understeer from the factory as its safer for typical track drivers. Adding front downforce without adding rear will give a car a tendency to oversteer more, but you might find the balance is better with just the Canards or you need to add a little bit of wing angle as suggested.

Just make sure you work with a shop that knows what they're doing.
