Lava Orange vs Ultraviolet

This^
I'll chime in for fun and it's just my 2 cents, that is all
I think Porsche chose the wrong orange, LO is great but no where near as great as RS Orange in terms of pop but I understand why they probably didn't want to do it again and again. UV is a stunner but for me it would be too short term. Then again most guys only drive them a year Ha. But it is stunning. I think some of you might be underestimating white on the RS. With the proper amount of black accents it's going to look the business. All business. I'm partial to the motorsports color. Shame on Porsche for a fairly blah and limited stock color choice. Best thing about this issue? I don't have to decide.

Just my opinion, but I've been searching for the right 964 for a few months, I could find a Purple 964 today, I would happily pay a significant premium (50% to 100%) over a same condition White/Black/Red car.

I disagree on the UV is short-term comment, classic '73 RS color with various purple shades carried forward in many 911 generations including the 30th anniversary edition 911.

Voodoo Blue will look great on the RS. Of the two in question I didn't like LO until I saw the panels. Now I'd lean towards LO.

^^ I saw the panels yesterday prepared to like UV but it didn;t happen. It was too washed out in the sun, almost faded. Nicer in the shade.
LO however looked very good and punchy to me, slow sizzle, if I didn't have an orange .1 RS it I'd forgo PTS and choose LO/LO.

I just wish there were some graphics on them. That's what the 991 3rs is missing. Don't have to be over the top like the 997.2 RS, but something similar to the 997.1's or the 997 RS 4.0's. I forget who did it, but there's been a couple of really nice photoshop jobs that show what would make nice 991 3RS graphics.

Don't like graphics, always took them off or ordered the car without.
My car is approved for PTS.
If anyone with a UV car wants to swap the Matte Aluminum uprights and wheels, I have black uprights and wheels coming.
Be happy to swap, ideally in Germany when they are still new, if state side they will have some miles on them.

the LO and UV colors are really interesting. I cant help but wonder what I would think if they were offered on the 993GT2 and what they would look like today with age....
