Default Fabspeed 991 GT3 valved side muffler bypass | VIDEO

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of performing a Side Muffler Bypass Pipe installation on a wonderfully-spec'ed out 991 GT3.

This particular GT3 has been upgraded with the clear tail lights, black wheels, and a Porsche factory CUP car hood. It has a great look to it, and we figured it would be a crime not to share it with the rest of the forums here.

The owner brought the car in to have us install a set of Fabspeed Valved Side Muffler Bypass Pipes, which compliment the factory center muffler perfectly. The resulting sound when he pulled out of the lot was nothing short of sublime!

Enjoy the photos!

UPDATE: VIDEO BELOW. SIDE MUFFLER BYPASS WITH VALVES, OEM CENTER MUFFLER AND HEADERS.

- 991GT3 side muffler bypass pipes WITH and w/o valves
- Direct replacement simple to install bolt-on replacement for the 45 pound/22 KG heavy stock OEM 997GT3/991GT3 side mufflers
- Better sound and power
- Maintain sport valve button operation
- Great logical upgrade
- MADE in USA by Fabspeed Motorsport craftmen.

Try not to get distracted by the AMAZING, the WONDERFUL, the GROUND BREAKING.. E46 ///M3!!!

Jk... lol it's mine

On a serious note, I was going to have video of the silver car done with the side muffler bypass with valves but she ended up needing to leave for the new owner ASAP!

Going to try and get the owner of the white one to post some vids!

I must say; this mod is gaining on me. As for sound I feel you would get the most from GMG rear replacement with some loss of aero effects.

I also like the extra torque below 3k with valves on the stock longer path but wonder is the shorter one through the rear muffler is close to standard system in this area???

I am not sure I understand your question. Are you asking if in OEM configuration if the cente rmuffler still plays a part in the on/off of the valves?

Thanks,

I understand that valves are still active, however original path of exhaust with valves shut was through the side exhaust which increased back pressure and low end torque. With valves closed exhaust now takes a shorter path but longer than valves open, sooooo is the low end torque still as good with somewhat less backpressure??? (Valves closed)
