Default 991 GT3 vs Scud--- What a machine!

Was on track for the first time with a Scud I picked up a few months ago. GT3 ran rings around me (given I was still learning the Scud). What a machine! Scud is so visceral though and such a fun experience. So many cars so little time! I hope that 2016 GT3 allocation I am in line for comes through!

Well, let's hope so. The Scud is only (what?) about a 6, or maybe 7, year old tech and platform compared to the 991 GT3?

There is always something faster. But a scud is a scud. They can be faster than my scud, but its always a wow to look and hear. And what can beat the sound of the scud? Not a GT3. I have both, I should know.

How hard do you drive it on track? It should keep around on pace with 991 on lower areo required tracks

What are your running costs on it to track it?

I often think of adding one - they are damn cool

Agreed. Not many cars get close to a scud. Lucky you kept your scud. I sold mine and the same car is 50 k more.

many will come and out perform a Scud. But as stated, a Scud is a Scud. Always fun to drive, such a visceral and emotional machine, makes others feel numb. I love my Scud.

Default SCUD

Ahh, OK. Scud - I get it now. Since joining this site, there have been so many abbreviations, acronyms, and lingo to learn that its hard to remember it all.

Yes, Ferraris are nice. I must say however that I was driving down the road the other day and a guy in a gorgeous black Ferrari pulled up next to me. It is a beautiful car, but I thought to myself that I would rather have the Turbo.

If I was a wealthier man the F430 Scuderia would be on the top of my list sitting next to a GT3. I can't imagine a greater pair than that.

A greater pair IMO would be a 991 GT3 RS and a 458 Speciale.
