Is there any quota for PTS? Worldwide? Per country?

1) Yes, there is apparently a quota established by PAG for PTS each year based on estimated demand (which they have normally thought of as between .5 and 1% of total production).

2) I believe it's world-wide number of PTS, not specific per country.

3) Once they reach that estimated number of PTS they feel they can handle for each model, PAG closes its PTS window for that model*.

4) The window for PTS closes for different models at different times. This year it closed for the 991 in early July. It closed later in July for the 981 gt4. In 2011, the PTS window for the MY2012 987 Spyder lasted only 2 weeks in March of that year. In the fall of 2014, PAG closed the PTS window for the remainder of the MY2015 on all 991 & 981...then produced 30 PTS gt3s in the Spring for a few US dealers. It's all very mysterious and unscientific...much to the chagrin of its loyal customers!

Can you handle it? Can you handle the truth?

Bonne chance avec votre ordre du RS!

Saludos,
Eduardo
Carmel

*The Cayenne seems to be the only model that doesn't have PTS.

Any chance Porsche would allow Club Blau as a PTS color in the future?

PCA would prefer if PAG keeps the color exclusive to those 60 Limited Edition 'Club Coupes'. But if history is any indication
(e.g. 'Brewster Green', 'Azzurro California Metallic', 'Sport Classic Grey', 'Speedster Blue'), PAG will eventually let some VIP,
or any Tom, Dick or Harriet, eventually order it as PTS. PAG has demonstrated as much restraint keeping their 'Exclusive'
colors exclusive as 'Rahab the Harlot' had with saying 'No' in the Old Testament!

If 'Club Blau', which is a close relative of 'Acid Blue/Bahama Blue', is allowed to be ordered as PTS, I don't expect it will
be until after MY2018...or later. But they may surprise us sooner than that!

Saludos,
Eduardo

I have allocation for October 2015 build GT3 RS. I checked to see if PTS was available but it wasn't. I also checked for Miami Blue and its not. So it is specced out as Ultraviolet, the coolest color for this current gen RS imo.

Pretty close match IMO. A bit more green than riviera to my eye. Here's side by side comparison with exposure turned down a bit to reduce the bright showroom lights. Looks like a winner!

i think Miami Blue looks closest to Riviera. Definitely lighter than Mexico, Voodoo, etc.

Again, so difficult to pick colors you haven't seen in real life under artificial light, cloudy and sunny sky's.

Really don't like what I see in that photo, just like UV looks completely different in any photo I have seen on my screen, I'll know after a few days in Germany if I like it I guess.

That's why I went originally for Golf Blue, seen it in real life and love it but PTS wan not to be for me.

Doesn't look at all like the paint samples, which I liked. If this is in fact an accurate representation then I'm back to Mr. Purple.

Go Golf blue. We can always swap for Mr. Purple if you don't like Golf.
