Thank-you! I think I will be pleased when I pick mine up in 100 days or so in Leipzig.

I think Eduardo has a nice history of oranges in this post on this very thread!

You will be so happy! It is amazing! Can't wait to see yours. The last 100 days are so agonizing...... savor the anticipation!

A little off topic but reading last night I found on a list there's actually one BMW M3 someone got in Brewster Green a few years back. Googled it and found pics.

Heres a green Porsche story, when I was at the factory in March, there was a dark green Turbo S exclusive on production line, I said hows this possible, theres only 3 colors for this car, the tour guide said, perhaps the car was for a Porsche family member, there is a special shade of green that only family members can get, of course in the factory no pictures

Default Navy Blue vs. Dark Sea Blue

Not the greatest photos, but I received these a while back from Porsche. I was told that Navy is indeed a non-metallic, but the sample, at the time, was only available in metallic. Strange. They told me it would be the same exact color as this sample only non-metallic.

Not a PTS question but I figured you guys are the folks to ask cause it's not worthy of a new thread ...

I want to colormatch a couple of aftermarket parts to Lizard Green ... anyone know the paint code for it?

Thanks.

I believe it’s M6B.
When you pull up any Porsche OE part in Lizard it references M6B as paint code in the part number.

Eduardo,
Great to chat with you in Maranello during the Dino reunion. PTS may be opening up for my GT3T and when others ask about a list of possible colors, answers seem vague and this thread has a huge number of posts to go through, so apologies if it was answered before and I missed it.
I do want to be ready if I my PTS request is successful, are there any color palettes to chose from?.
Any help is much appreciated .

The color circled appears to be an old Maserati color, Celeste or sky blue

There was no strict / set 'display order'. Rather it was rather loosy-goosy & samples
ended up being put back all over the place. I have no idea of the name of the color

***That smaller wall of color samples should not be confused with the old 'Wailing Wall

was decorative wall...not a 'work' wall where clients pulled samples from the wall.

The new 'work' wall of color samples is now at the new offices of 'Porsche Exclusive'
at Werk 1. Blue Flame showed us that wall in his recent post:

Saludos,

I don’t know if anyone else has been following this, but as it is VW Group related and paint related, I thought it fit here. As Z356 noted, Audi has an exclusive program with custom colors and has a list of ~80 available plus true custom color.

Interestingly, for Canada, VW offers 30 custom colors on the Golf R, many of which are very similar to historic Porsche colors and some appear to even be historic Porsche colors (Irish Green, Viper Green Metallic etc.).

Someone on VW Vortex is tracking them with helpful links to each on the first page of the thread.

https://forums.vwvortex.com/showthre...8886106?page=1

I’d have a reseda green.

Another tidbit, the retail build sheet now includes a color code.

Of course, it does not line up with the color code on the PTS sheet as it is 6 digits.

I bought a spray out of Auratium green (210 on PTS list, 5712 original Porsche code) from Willhoit. I want to thank Eduardo master of all PTS for mentioning to me that John Willhoit sells spray outs of 356 colors so anyone considering one for $35 you get a sprayed out card which was matched to an original 356. Anyway, I am a terrible photographer, but here is a picture and I will try to get one in sunlight tomorrow. I will also hold it up next to my car when it arrives to see how close it is.
