Reference Guide to PTS

Never seen Irish Green looking this good on a 991.

I am reposting this here from the 991 forum since it's relevant to the topic of this thread!
'Signal Yellow' is one of my all-time favorite hues in Porsche color history. I owned a factory
original 'Signal Yellow' 1973 911T Sunroof & it was simply a stunning color! Indeed it has an
orange flow to it!
Interestingly, it was one of the first VIN numbers for MY1973, having been built
on the first day of production for that model year. For MY1973, that was early
in July of 1972!
***
It's not by accident that PAG chose 'Signal Orange' as the PTS .2 991 gt3 it allow the public to see.
***
And in a world of automotive color paints that are bland, unexciting & often depressing
to see, a 'Signal Yellow' 911 radiates warmth & beauty like a sphere of hot plasma in an
otherwise dark/cold cosmos!
Merry Christmas to everyone at Rennlist!

Slip:
Thanks for the photo of the PTS 'Wailing Wall' at its new location.
Where has the 'Exclusive Manufaktur' quarters been moved to
(temporarily) at Zuffenhausen now that the old location was torn
down to make room for the Mission E assembly plant?
There is a lot of old brick showing...is that photo taken inside
the courtyard of Werk I on Schweiberdinger Strasse? Or at
Werk II across the street?

Hi Eduardo, they are now at Werk 1 since beginning of the year, the moved just before the holidays to the new location. Same as the new "Werksauslieferung" - to pick up your new toy at Zuffenhausen.

So I have a question I bet no one can answer with certainty, but you never know...
On the configurator, if I pick the from stock red colors for a GT3 I see Guards Red and Carmine Red rendered on my (uncalibrated) laptop screen as distinct red hues.
If I click on custom color (Exterior in Custom Color, Metallic) the configurator defaults to a third distinct hue that is also essentially a red that is close to Carmine but different.
Does anyone have a guess as to what that example PTS metallic color is supposed to be?
Here's how I see Guards, Carmine, Unknown Red (in that order):

The colors shown on the configurator are only semi-meaningful, at best. But if you like the red in the third example, you may be interested in "GTS red", as shown here:

Many thanks for sharing photos of the new Exclusive lounge. I visited the temp location in November, so it wasn't long after when they made the move. The Pearl White TTS Cab is an interesting exercise I must say. I wonder how much PAG asks for such pearlescent colors - cannot imagine it would be the same as standard UNI and metallic colors.

It might be Oryx, which was (at least) double the usual cost of PTS.
There is a PTS color called ''Oryx White Pearl Effect'. The complete name is: 'oryxweiß perlmutteffekt C9A 0K01 / Oryx White Pearl Effect C9A 0K01'
and has code 0K1. Looks like attached photos. Rennlister Suzy991 in Switzerland photographed on a Porsche show car in Europe and was interested in ordering the color on her prospective PTS Turbo order. But the cost of that special paint is apparently not the normal $5,500. Porsche Exclusive quoted her a substantially higher amount - like closer to $20K+ - to do this special paint. So she gave up on it.
