Excellent choice. You are fortunate to have gotten a PTS slot, congrats!

Unfortunately I don't have any breakdown of the PTS cars. My list is produced cars not necessarily delivered and I'd say the 39 from February and 62 from March haven't been delivered yet.

I may be missing 50 cars or less. If you have any VIN's or build sheets for the black cars let me know and I can see if I have it.

You are right but I had to be persistent! I placed my order last March and initially I had to spec a non-PTS colour while at the same time expressing an interest in PTS. I kept visiting the dealer almost weekly to ask about PTS and finally got the green light.

I went through various iterations on colour. I thought I would always have some kind of green given a blank canvas but then moved towards blue, initially Riviera. However, I am old enough to remember the 964 RS when it was new (and buttons to buy used but that is another story...) and I always like Maritime so that was the choice in the end. I like the way Maritime gives you different looks depending on light conditions from a blue to almost a lilac.

I am V215, have been for a while but expected delivery is July having slipped from March. I wish I had AC's "problem" of seeing the ship carrying his car anchored in my case in the Arabian Gulf!

Anyway, when the car arrives, it will be paint corrected, clear filmed and tracked regularly. The only question is whether its garage companion will remain a Ferrari F430 Scuderia or something slower but somehow more "organic" to drive. I have a feeling the Scud and RS will be a little too similar in their remits...we will see.

Hamid,

congrats! you are the second (next to RL member steve_h) worldwide i know who will get a martime RS (or maybe the third one )

and damn - please keep the scud! the RS is compared to it a surreal perfection machine...
buy a caterham next to those two if you want organic driving. its 3,6m long and 1,6m wide and so it fits in each small shed.

thank you loess and wysl94
you two should post more in here! i really appreciate your info and work!

[QUOTE=jo_ker;13146158]i think maritime is worth a repost:

Thanks for posting these - a few of pics helped me make up my mind all those months back when I placed my order. Mine must be amongst the last being produced I reckon.

By the way, I know there is another Maritime RS due to be delivered at the same time as mine in Dubai so we will have 2 here.

There has been at least 2 maritime RS delivered in North America to date and I am sure there will likely be a few more.

I really need to see maritime in person. I can't tell from the photos if it's a saturated vibrant blue, muted medium blue, or lavender color - or can it be all of them depending on the lighting conditions?

I saw a lot of PTS colors in reallife and I must say that vipergreen is one of the best, vipergreen and vodoo go so good with that car (+UV)

Gorgeous Viper but I'm agreeing with AC, I don't care for the silver trim on the wheels.

Can't imagine how many hours I've spent looking at PTS p-cars over the years.

Agreed. I run a page for PTS 991 RS's on Instagram, check it out if you're on that platform.

Porsche Racing Green RS spotted in Marbella. Owner also has a 918 Weissach in the same color.
