All these colours are sooooooooooo nice. Maritime definitely has a purple tint in it.

Default 'Maritime Blue' is difficult to photograph!

Do you think both are maritime?

Daniel: Yes, I do believe the earlier photo taken at Zuffenhausen of the
'blue' RS is 'Maritime Blue'. But we need to verify if possible.

We have discussed the topic of how difficult it is to photograph certain
colors. And one of the hardest to capture must be 'Maritime Blue'. In
these two photos of the RS in Calgary, it shows more of its signature
'purple' tint:

The photo above was also sent to me by Lawrence Romanosky, presumedly
taken with the same camera used in the other three photos I initially posted!

Maritime Blue looks spectacular. I love the purple hues.
Lawrence R from Calgary is a straight up great guy.
I did some business with him last year.
Really an honourable knowledgeable Porsche guy.
Congrats on the build. Great colour choice.
And yes, Canadians do have great taste when
it comes to PTS if I may say so myself.

Maritime looks great. What color is the 993tt in the picture? Looks very dark for being a regular silver?

thank you eduardo and lessthan3mph!

i quickly thought about Maritime on the factory picture. but dark/strong blue in the direct sun .... mhh.

this color is absolute outstanding based on the spectrum it provides in different shades! just wow!! i can't name a second paint which does the same this extreme.

can somebody help me with more details about maritime?
for example when it was firstly painted? 1992 on the 964RS?
how many layers?
any other infos?

Interesting, Canadian have good luck getting PTS GT cars and seem to have less stealers...maybe I can get residence over there so I can actually buy a new PTS car.

That's what I thought. The polar silver looks a lot greyer/darker on my iPhone screen than in real life.
Would love to see the MT blue in the flesh.

Too funny, I am laughing. I have a spare room for you up here. Might be a bit cold compared to California. I truly enjoy your comments.
