The problem with the leather interior is that you also get Alcantara in the door panels, and glove box. Is there any way to get leather on the door panels, and glove box instead of Alcantara?
Never a question for me
$170k Porsche should NOT have plastic dashboard and door panels.
Completely agree.
Leather was my biggest option expense for my GT3, but well worth it for a 140-150k car.
However my Boxster S looked just fine with the standard leather on the seats and steering wheel. Spending an extra 5K didn't make sense for the Boxster, but I'm very glad I spent the extra money on full leather for the GT3.
(Which came to about 8K to also get leather seatbacks and extended leather dash). Makes me smile every time I get in my GT3.

Reason: .
Porsche could offer full leather interior as standard and padded plastic as a $2K lightweight option...and people would jump all over it. Gotta be worth 200 grams.
if hot and humid CF will delaminates. it's CF look, not CF. my all delaminates.
several different cars
&0ddammit Mooty! why you gotta say real stuff like that! Thankfully I live in a Desert so no worries about humidity. But very good advice and I think a very real possibility. Still think I'm goin' full Leather Tuskadero though
