The problem with the leather interior is that you also get Alcantara in the door panels, and glove box. Is there any way to get leather on the door panels, and glove box instead of Alcantara?

$170k Porsche should NOT have plastic dashboard and door panels.

100% agree. I have a hard time not having full leather on a car at that price point.

Although you do get a plastic dash with the RS as there is no option for extended leather on the dash like the GT3.

Completely agree.

Leather was my biggest option expense for my GT3, but well worth it for a 140-150k car.

However my Boxster S looked just fine with the standard leather on the seats and steering wheel. Spending an extra 5K didn't make sense for the Boxster, but I'm very glad I spent the extra money on full leather for the GT3.

(Which came to about 8K to also get leather seatbacks and extended leather dash). Makes me smile every time I get in my GT3.

I've had leather in my 996 and 997 GT3s, but I think that, unlike the 996 and 997 generations, the non-leather 991 interior looks fine.

Porsche could offer full leather interior as standard and padded plastic as a $2K lightweight option...and people would jump all over it. Gotta be worth 200 grams.

Too bad they don't make the faux alcantara, alcantara makes me fuzzy.
