991 GT3RS
How much did you pay for the mark up of your 991 GT3RS? I am thinking to get one but the dealer is asking 50k over MSRP. Do you think this car worth this much?

That's crazy. You can do a lot of things with 50K.
I'm sorry but the RS isn't worth that. And RS will be easier to get next year than this year.
To the OP. If you want a fun car now, get a GT3, lamborghini, Ferrari, z06, Z28.,whatever, and try again for an RS next year. You'll have fun now and I gaurantee, you'll lose less than 50K on that car over the next year.

I tend to agree that $50k is a bit excessive. That kind of money can do a lot of things more beneficial for you & not your greedy dealer.
I know it's thought to be patient, but....you know that good things come to those people!!!

It's your money and only you can answer what $50k means to you. No one knows if they'll be easier or harder to get next year, there should be more allocations coming, but demand does seems to keep growing.

I would say its not a good idea to encourage this kind of behaviour from dealers. Having said that, there will always be someone who 'breaks ranks' and pays over the odds.
In any case, not sure why you are asking others what the car is worth to them. Its what its worth to you that matters.

It all depends on how you want to option it.
The dealer cars are quickly optioned with 30K in options, so if you like a loaded RS at $200+ anyway than I think you will find one for less than 50k over later.
If you want your RS "just so" with lowish options and you must have one than you may have to pay over. I'd say 50K gets you an RS allocation no problem, if you wait till next year it may be less or they may be all gone.
You can grab GT3's now almost new at MSRP....

I'm happy for folks to believe there is a bunch of gently used 1GT3s on the market for MSRP or under; I'm just not one of them. Rather than further derail OP's thread, this will be my last comment on the topic.
