Curious to know what the color mix was across the 40 cars. Looked like quite a few silver but only a couple of white GT3s.

Exactly! Agree 100% Matt would have been photographer extraordinaire!

I'll state no more on the subject but I am so ready with ammunition and unless provoked by the offending party I shall resist pulling the name and shame trigger.

Never mind, I looked at a map and I understand the geography now.

What a great experience, I hope to be able to participate in something like this some day.

The video was also spectacular - we watched it instead of getting a Redbox tonight.

Thanks for all you do.

Matt. Wow! What can I say!! Im going to fly in for your next Smokies 991 GT3 meet!

A few things.

Firstly the 997 GT3 style "GT3" vinyl decal on the rear of your car look brilliant. Clean, understated, no fuss a huge aesthetic improvement IMO!

Secondly, the silver car with the Crawford wing and the OZ wheels (not to be confused with Lanes car) seems to be sporting a thicker 991 GT3RS splitter! Is this really so? A factory piece I assume? Wow thats first time Ive seen that - maybe a good balance for the rear wing - if PAG think its good enough for the RS then surely it will be good enough with GT3 with rear wing!!

Great work!

I just watched the video and looked at all the pics. Fantastic job documenting it Matt! I feel like I was there. Looks like a super fun trip and reminds me of a Big Bear run that I did a many years ago. That must have been a great road trip to share with your dad. Thanks so much for sharing!

Macca,

That was my car. You have a good eye! I did install the cup car splitter to balance out the aero on the Crawford wing. It was only $150, but I believe you can't buy it as an individual and need to get it through a Porsche Motorsports team. I got it through Goldcrest in Atlanta.

Rich. Great work! Good data point for the rest of us. Im sure soon the RS splitter (same as cup part?) will be available. Let us know what your thought are with the aro upgrades on track. The wheels look very nice too. I wasnt sure the OZ would look right but they do...

Macca,
That would be incredible! You could certainly find someone to ride with, or perhaps we could find you some sort of P-car to do the drive in. Next event is October 2-4, it will be smaller, about 25-28 cars but includes a track day.

We are going to really do it up in the Spring - That will be sometime in May next year. You are welcome at any time!

There is room on the transporter from NYC for the fall event. Very reasonable price - we had 6 cars from the northeast trucked in and the transporter waited for them all weekend.
