This is available…

They also have one that is switchable with a garage remote.

Anyone handy with electronics could even make their own from radio shack parts. All you're doing is installing an on/off switch.

Do you have a link? I'm thinking of doing the same.

Do you know what the Porsche pary# is! On one site it looked like a 997 P# not a cup?

I don't have the part number handy, but the Cup muffler that carnewal sells will come directly from Porsche Motorsport. No such street car part exists.

I tried to find the part numbers and was unsuccessful. My parts department guys couldn't get the part numbers either. I found some 991 Cup parts PDF from Australia but none of the numbers worked at my dealer. Perhaps they don't have access.

Carnewal assured me this is a brand new Porsche Motorsports part.

Did Carnewal confirm that their 997 part set is 100% compatible with the 991, including tip fitment?

There is less drone with this setup that what you finally settled on, because the internal construction of this muffler is slightly different than the stock one.

By the way, with the cheap euro, you can get this factory Porsche Motorsport muffler with j pipes for $1,700 from Carnewal in Belgium. Really makes the BBI pipes look overpriced - which they horribly are.

Will this fit 991 GT3 and 991 GT3 RS? If so I would buy one even my RS isn't arrived yet. Are these Porsche Motorsport Parts?

Today is a national holiday there. They are expecting it from Porsche Tues/Wed. Then a few days to get to me, I'm thinking Monday/Tue next week or so.

100%? No. I'm taking a leap of faith based on Serge's suggestion and my research. I could be wrong, it's happened before. Not sure on tips and if the muffler comes with tips, whether I'll have to consider some sort of heat shielding

We'll know soon enough. They are brand new Porsche Motorsports parts, I asked.
