they do for 918 customers. you have to order Photo-book option. in fact, when i visited my 918 on a production line, there was a guy there with professional camera taking photos of the car as it went through the production line.

That option is available also to some 991/981 customers via 'Porsche Exclusive'. It's approx. 1000 Euros. But there are restrictions, as you can read below from Melissa Witek on her email to a customer:

"Hi ********,
I received feedback on the book:

The 'Coffee Table Book' as we call it, is a project run by the factory in Stuttgart. In regards to photos from the actual car in production, this has only been possible for the special series 911 Sport Classic and 911 Speedster, and even then it was not every individual car, but only one of those models. There is a possibility to get individual books, but those did not have photos from the actual assembly line..only photos of the special installations in the Exclusive workshop (as well as photos from a special photo shoot after completion of the vehicle). Also, due to the fact that the cars are prepared for shipping during assembly (foils, etc.), only European Delivery cars can be considered for such books. And then finally, the cost for a book is around 1,000 Euro without shipping.

Warm Regards,
Melissa Witek
"
