Would not surprise me one bit to see black as a $5k color.
Would pay $5k over existing colors in a heart beat.

It's sad Porsche makes you pay for it and handsomely....considering all of the PTS colored options available. Remember, black and white are not colors. If it was a standard color or they offered Basalt (had it on a cayenne turbo) I would consider it. The RS batmobile. ...if it was me and I was lucky enough to get PTS....I might do it in signal green. Too many blue PTS cars out there. Different strokes for different folks as they say.

I'd hit silver but I'm boring like that.

Someone please order a stripper silver RS (need Acon tho, no other options wanted), I'm your buyer in 12mo when you tire of it

Carcommander?
I changed mine to GT silver a few days ago. I think I will stick with it my last 6 911's have been black. Normally GT silver is extra cost and black is not.

black is the best colour for this car (IMO)
hides all the ugly, fatty bits.
ultraviolett should be good too. but black is best.
suits the aggression just nicely.

A GTSilver is the smartest buy, the only thing Porsche usually charges for but gives away for free this time. It looks great, I'm one of the few that doesn't love GTSilver, except on the GT2RS. And this RS looks a lot like an GT2RS.

Probably a great color for resale.

You're not helping.
Emailed dealer to see if it will get me the car sooner... got an email from the PTS department today saying that there is plenty of time to wait for another color?!

black will melt in the Florida heat, always dirty and it will look and make other road users even angrier. I guess if I wrap it all in clear bra and always PRI in the shade there's not that much that can go wrong..

Maybe not the perfect color if you want to track the car considering chipping.

But it does look good in silver I must say - even though I'm not found of silver on 911's.

Totally agree! One added bonus with black is that it makes the car look smaller!

I think black is a pretty bad choice vs Slate Grey or Grey Black at the same price. Either of these would look a lot better, add orange interior and Orange stickers and it'll be a real head turner. Or keep it without them and it's very stealth.

Black is like a poor version of these, but its your car...

But nobody complains when GT Silver is a freebee this time around, vs. an up charge most times.
