Is that a new restriction? Are the taxes steep?

Default Track days Europe calendar 2015

I think Scuderia Hanseat split and S7 contains some of the original instructors from SH. I have done SH a couple of times and like it.

Assuming that S7 is the same it is a course in how to drive the ring.

Thanks Kobalt, I'm trying to decide if I want 3 days of Ring instruction or just one and do 3 dyas of Spa:

My plan today:

Manthey Sept 25th signed up.
26th. manthey sets up the car?
27th either stay and do Scuderia S7 or head to Spa 28+29 Spa or Ring

30+1 Spa (Join Kobalt)

2nd + 3rd drive to Saltzburg ring because nice drive and I cant find anything else and its on the way to Red Bull Ring.

4th Red Bull Ring

5th. cant find event in driving distance from Red Bull Ring.

6th drop off the car at a dealer or Manthey for service?

7th. fly home.

For my next trip a week or 2 later I think I have a Mercedes van with open trailer because I have a 6000Km limit.

Considering, not booked ticket yet:
FR Dijon Oct 15+16 Yokobo
Spa again Oct 15+16 trackdays-co.uk
IT Misano 17 Pistenclub
SP Valencia 17+18 European Speed Club
FR Anneau du Rhin 18 Speed Industries
FR Dijon Oct 18 Pistenclub
It Mugello 22 Pistenclub
IT Imola 24

3rd trip:
Hockenheim
Zolder
Zandvoord
Oschersleben

Thanks guys!!

Interesting! People rave about Scuderia Hanseat and I was sad to miss it in early Sept. This sounds like an interesting alternative...

Regarding S7: I just read their program:

Day 1: Registration and stuff + Welcome dinner
Day 2: Section training - Free driving - Section training - Free driving - Dinner
Day 3: Section training - Free driving - Exam - Free driving - Awards

Max 100 participants, which is really good
They divide the track into 6 sections - which means that the sections are very long: It might be difficult to remember all the feedback you get in a section. And if 100 participants the groups contains about 16 cars.

Compared to Scuderia Hanseat:
Day 1: Registration and stuff + Welcome dinner
Day 2: Safety driving + Free driving during Touristdriving
Day 3: Section training - Free driving - Section training - Free driving
Day 4: Section training - Free driving - Section training - Free driving
Day 5: Section training - Free driving - Exam + Awards Dinner

Maybe 200 cars or more. Less in spring then in autumn.
Shorter and more sections which is better for the beginner.

I think the bottom line for me is: If you can choose between the two: Scuderia Hanseat: More bang for the buck.

(I'm most likely doing the Scuderia Hanseat again in September.)

My schema as it looks right now:
25 Arriving in Nürburg in the afternoon: Tourist driving in the evening. (Maybe Manthey during the day, not decided.)
26 Tourist driving all day
27 Tourist driving all day
28 I'll probably work during the day
29 Tourist driving in the evening + Travel to Spa (or travel to Spa early in the morning of the 30th)
30 Spa

How are you getting your helmet there? Carry-on? Checked bag? Shipping?

If checked bag, do you have a hard case for it? If so, which one?
