Its a work in progress.
I wouldn't mind a calendar for UK track days to see if I can hit a few. Problem is that we seem to ne limited to 6000Km's so I may have to leave that for next years GT4 delivery :Icon107:

Used website calendars:
http://www.openpitlane.de/alle-termine/ still to be updated with actual organization website to pay and sign up.

That looks like a sick vaca no matter what, I am jealous as hell. My Delivery in at the end of Dec. so I guess I'll just have to make a tour of warm USA tracks!

To be honest I am not the biggest fan of Silverstone. The UK has some incredible tracks and although silverstone is not bad, its not as good as some of the other UK tracks.

I agree with top 3.. If you could get a track day in the nurburgring F1 track (not the full one) I also recommend it. A big fan of the F1 track.

Also, while Monza isn/t the hardest track, I love that place, full of history, nice track, and the best pizzas I have ever had just next to the track.

Do you want a specific Porsche only trackday or is a regular trackday also fine with you?

I know some (Dutch) guys who are organizing trackday events all over Europe (in Holland, SPA, Nordschleife, Bilsterberg, Ascari Race Resort)..

And they are not that expensive as RSR for example..

Mugello circuit...it's definitely worth going to, fast track, very technical...and beautiful sorrounds (good food and wine )

check it out (updated regoularly - new dates are often added) this website for trackdays directly organized by them

Im Dutch. Porsche events are cool in a new RS but any track day that's well organized and safe I'm interested in. Any info is welcome!

Looks Awsome and I never even heard of it till yesterday. Great stuff here. I'll keep building my data so I'm ready to start booking as soon as my build is locked and my pickup date is reconfirmed. Fingers crossed.

agreed, silverstone gp is nice enough and safe but it's dead flat and a bit boring. Brands GP and Oulton Park (admittedly quite far to get to) are much better circuits IMO, even Donnington actually.

you won't be disappointed, whatever info you need feel free to ask

yes it is owned by Ferrari, formula 1 races don't take place there just for logistic issues (not very accesible by such crowds of people al together)....but all the rest yes, motogp, gt cars etc etc...a very challenging and selective track for drivers

Hello Rennlisters familiar with these tracks and groups and other ED customers who want to meet up.

Please advise us about these groups and tracks the good and not so good.
All other track days, recommendations etc. are welcome!!

I like well-organized, safe groups that have a good system to evaluate ones capabilities. Basically opposite of Toeristenfahren at the Ring LOL.
I’m OK to drive solo on any new track, I’ve driven maybe 30 tracks or so the last 12 years and PCA instructor, has some coaching and doing some racing in an old 911 so I will manage by myself.
But it never hurts to get an instructor or local to go for a ride with me or lead-follow for a few laps to get me up to speed.

There are huge price differences in the daily track fee’s and I’m sure you get what you pay for.

Below my half baked plan until I get the go ahead from Porsche and trying to stay married  for the first of three 2 week trips:

IF I can get my car earlier I would do Spa September 21-24 and that would change everything because I could go elsewhere Sept 28-Oct1st.
But that’s not likely at this point I should be happy if I get my car on the 24th.
http://www.rsrnurburg.com/calendar?date=2015-9&t=full

So, assuming I can pick up the car on the 24th.
3 days Ring? I could not find anything at the Hockenheim ring / Zandvoor/Zolder/Spa other? Near Stuttgart….
The Ring Toeristen fahen may be OK to break in the car September Friday 25 Saturday 26 Sunday 27. Ill be going careful.
http://www.nuerburgring.de/fahren-er...9&year_20=2015

Than 4 days SPA, I’ll need time to get up to speed.

Monday + Tuesday September 28 + 29 Spa:
http://www.curbstone.net/en/events
Wednesday September 30 Spa:
http://www.porscheclubfrancorchamps....257DED004AB3F3
Thursday October 1 Spa:
http://www.racetrack4you.de/

1 day Ring

Friday October 2 Ring? First organized Ring track day.

http://www.openpitlane.de/alle-termine/
http://skylimitevents.com/

one day red bull ring

Saturday October 3rd drive to Red bull Ring. Possibly service car.

Sunday October 4 Red Bull Ring
http://www.schnelleschwaben.de/

Too bad its only one day!

October 5th? drive Alps weather permitting?

October 6th Drop off car at a dealer for service.
October fly home.

That’s all I got so far.

The plan is to make 3 trips
- one more to Northern Italy; Mugello, Monza Imola if I can find dates together.
- One Zandvoort Zolder and maybe France Dijon in October.

Looks like I will have 6000KM’s by then so Game over drop the car off to ship stateside late November.
Maybe I do need to order a Macan for wife December delivery hmmm…
