Not a problem, Mike. If there is a color we can all get pretty confused about, 'Maritime Blue' is it!
So true, either way, my favorite Porsche color is definitely a blue, not sure which one but if I had to choose it would be in the -Arrow/Bahama/Blue Turquoise/Voodoo/Club- blue range. All very similar IMO and all just beautiful.
By the way, I just assumed Maritime Blue shaded towards it's blue hues outside in natural light and shaded towards purple inside w/artificial light and in darker areas. I always thought this was Maritime, but closer to it's blue hue than purple because of the lighting, now I'm not so sure, what do you think?

DO IT! maybe it will convince me to do PTS on both my RS cars

Anonymous...you got to see a professional about this odd tendency you have to buy every new Porsche model that comes out in pairs. That's also how Imelda Marcos started her now infamous shoe collection and that didn't end well!

i wouldn't say that didn't end well: she is 85 and still running around and wielding a lot of power. her son is a senator and her daughter is a governor. those third world countries with their political families that just don't go away and leave their country alone, huh?

oh and did you know because of her love of Porsches and her secret collection of air-cooled 964 and 993 cars, her grandson is named Ferdinand Alexander in honor of Butzi?

Club blue is my new favorite--its intense. I also like Voodoo, but Club just grabs your attention, and in an RS thats what you want with the traditional bright colors. Just my 2c

I also love the new 'Club Blau', which was formulated using the historic/vintage early 911 color called 'Acid Blue/Bahama Blue'. But the problem for a 991 gt3 RS customer is that 'Club Blau' is not yet an approved PTS color for the general Porsche buying public. I am sure someone with a VIP 'RS' allocation will requested. And it will be interesting to see if PAG agrees to do it!

You see what I mean...you are WAY TOO FAMILIAR with the story of Imelda Marcos. That is how it all starts - you buy a few Manolos here & there...

...and you are soon buying Porsches in pairs & end up naming your grandson 'Ferdinand Alexander'!

By the way, Anonymous, how is your own darling son 'Butzi' doing? Does he have a twin brother named 'Wolfgang'?

I'd take club blue over voodoo if it could be done. However, green may trump blue.

I became a blue lover about 13 years ago when I bought my electron blue Corvette sight unseen just from photos on the internet. Still insanely LOVE the color. I have no idea what color would be closest in Porsche colors. In the sun its pure dynamite, and even in artificial light its unbelievably beautiful. Still love to see it in the garage.

Aqua perhaps? Not sure if thats metallic or not.

Actually my favorite color IS green. My favorite green color of all is Kawasaki racing green.

Eduardo? Whats your picks closest to these in PTS?

Unless you have been to big events and seen these cars side by side outdoors, I think most of us have no idea.

Maritime is tough to represent in a photo. Looks like Mexico in direct sunlight and purple under florescent light. Cell pics don't help..this top photo is the best representation of the color.

Default Undecided still? Then Go with Different 'Shades of Blue' on your gt3!

If you are a 'blue's man' but can't decide on the perfect 'Blau' hue for your next gt3, PAG now offers an optional 'multi-Blau' PTS option! It's a bit more expensive (US$11,000) than regular PTS, but it allows you to enjoy several of your 'Blues' simultaneously in your gt3! Something to think about on your next custom Porsche.

PS This particular car was ordered by Rennlister 'AnonymousIncognitus991', who spared no expense. He went for the rare optional 'Cognac' door handles and 'Lime Gold Metallic' rear view mirrors!

When asked about his unusual request by 'Porsche Exclusive', 'Anonymous' nonchalantly explained that, and I quote,: 'Anyone can order three shades of blue on a Porsche...but how many have the ***** to add 'Cognac' & 'Lime Gold' to a custom PTS order!' The answer is...the one & only 'AnonymousIncognitus991'!
