I haven't seen one yet. I don't plan on dyno my car. I know it drops 44 lbs or so and I don't feel any noticeable loss of power. Btw. I was in Shanghai last week too and saw that rs magazine , I was in Kerry Pudong , where were you ?

It depends on whether or not you reprogram the ECU.

BBI makes a quality product, that and the fact that I've been friends with them for almost 10 years, is why I carry their products.

Was at Waldorf on the Bund for part of the time and then at Intercontinental in the French Concession for the rest. First time in Shanghai--really dug it!

My friend's 991 TTS with Fabspeed leaked after 2 track days. Another one 997.2 GT3 RS also having problem after 1 trackday. Fabspeed exhaust are made in Taiwan and looks cheap.
After this I start worrying should I modify exhaust after my RS arrived. I was so certain BBI side muffler delete but would like to ask real users about the experience. I had europipe on my 997TT and that is the best exhaust I have even had and seen. I emailed stef ask if they are going to make one for Gt3 and RS but they have no plan. BBI exhaust looks really good quality too. The stainless steel they use looks very high quality. I don't like the shinny ones like fabspeed and IPE. I think those ones won't hold up for track and heat.

Good to know. I am not a fan of Fabspeed.

Unfortunate Stef at Europipe is not doing a 9A1 exhaust. They do quality stuff.

The BBI sounds great!

so this looked really good, til i saw it defeats the valve open'close ability which may /or may not serve to prevent torque loss.
and IMO this car cant afford to lose ANY torque. at ANY point in the rev range... lol.

so - back to sticking with the stock exhaust for me.
as much as id love it to be a little louder.

I don't feel any tq loss. Think about losing 45 lbs. That may more than compensate for minimal tq loss. I was worried about losing the exhaust valve capability too now after 2 k miles I feel like car can be louder than even bbi exhaust. You just get used to awesome sound all time instead of having to rev the Hell out to hear the car on stock exhaust. IF it was my DD I may have stayed stock.
