1st GT3....thanks to Rennlist
My car was listed for sale on here by a Porsche dealer in Pennsylvania. I was lucky enough to be reading through the forum and was first in line as the guy who ordered this car could not take delivery any longer. So a big thanks to Porsche of Conshohocken to make this happen, traded in my 997.1 C2S and I had my GT3 a month after this process started. the car was low optioned, just how I would have ordered it.
thanks to all the guys that have done the research and posted the information needed to add the aftermarket parts I wanted for the track.
* TPC Racing Side Muffler By-pass Pipes. Installed Already
* Cantrell Roll Bar - Powder coated in white, should be here any day
* SunTek PPF - wrapped full hood, front fenders and bumper.
* PFC 11 brake pads and caliper studs to be installed this weekend
* Recaro SPG XL with 997 cup mount, left over from my C2S, should hopefully drop right in
* NecksGen HNR device for me
Favorite mod so far has to be the TPC by-pass exhaust, so thanks to Tom and the guys in there shop. Fit was perfect and install was not bad at all for DIY. With this mod I have no drone at cruising speed, deeper exhaust note at low RPM, more pronounced up/down shifts and just screams as you let it run through the gears. Sorry I can't compare the sound to a 3rd muffler delete (Sharkwerks).
I will try to get a couple sound clips up as the weather here in the midwest permits.
thanks again guys, see you at the track !

Congratulations on your new purchase! Glad everything worked out the way it did. I had a very similar story with one of my vehicles. If you're big into DIY you can always use our website for parts here and we also have a wide assortment of DIY tech articles.
