Default McLaren 570s MSRP'ing at $185,900.

I don't know how many of us have been invited and are on the McLaren 570s list. I have an invite to go to an official Invite only to check out their first "Sport's" car with an invite with a friend too. In San Francisco the Dealership has the cars May 1st and 2nd. If we do get test drive's I am going and will have an extra space For anyone who wants to go(... So if there are test drives I will be taking someone might want to go mooty...

I got invited to a local dealer as well this coming Thursday. I'm going to go.

I originally was going to get this car because of all the delays with my GT3, but man, I don't think I can stomach McLaren depreciation.

Got invited and will try to go.
Nice alternative to RS, if you trust it for track use.

I saw the 570S last week in Dallas. Looks phenomenal expecially interior and the rear. It's price point will bring new owners. Still prefer the power and handling of the 12C/650S... We'll see when it comes out.

Exactly. And it depreciates like a rock, isn't the easiest to enter/exit, and reliability is suspect if you actually drive the car.

I really wanted to like McLaren, test drove it several times, including the track, but i just don't see a reason to buy one given the superiority of other options.

McLaren are very new to this and will continue to get better and better, but for now I'd take the 991 GT3 7 days out of 7 especially for track use.

I saw the 570S when it was in NY - it's probably in the number 4 slot for me behind the RS and 488 GTB, followed by the 675LT in number 3. I was blown away by the 675LT in person after being disappointed by pictures of it and the 570S.

I must say though, the P1 GT3 was pretty tough to beat in person! But I need to be realistic...

This is a direct competitor to the 991 Turbo, and Turbo S. As for the GT3, and GT3 RS, it almost seems like everyone else has left the building, leaving the market for a NA high revving engine in a very track capable car to Porsche (under $200K, new).

$185,900 - $40,000 to move the thing from dealer and you'll lose another $30,000 on resale.

Price point is all relative.

Wouldn't touch a McLaren with a 100ft pole.

Depreciation time B O M B.

What's worse, a Lamborghini or McLaren?

Nice...

Obviously you are not too familiar with (new) exotic market. Go do some homework on what you just asked (if you're trying to make a jab at Huracan...which is still selling for MSRP at dealers--if you can find one).

You say you buy all of these cars (love some photos) so not sure what you're trying to imply here, but either way I could careless.
