Yeah, maybe. Even in the vid it sounds raspier in some starts than others; probably had a lot to do with mic placement. In others it sounds an awful lot like my car from a couple of vids that I have. Perhaps we hear what we want to hear, eh?

Sounds like a GT3?
Cold start on these cars (or any other Porsche for that matter) does not really sound so spectacular. You have to really rev them up to hear their true potential which is always a challenge to capture in a video.

man it sucks that it wont let you rev it higher while parked. what is it like 4000 rpm cut off?
why is it that the highest reving 911 has the lowest rev limiter? isnt it the only 911 that does this?
