I had a 991C2S with PSE was amazing! Also a 997.2 GT3 with Sharkwerks that did give a little bit of it.

For me this sounds abit too bland and very close to stock (Sound wise), compared to the other exhausts being offered by Ipe, Gmg etc...Maybe it can be that we are still to see a proper quality video of the Akrapovic? I guess time will tell

I bought the full Akra Evolution system with headers but no cats for my car. I was waiting forever for it to come out but I now sold my car and I have this exhaust. If anyone is interested in this exhaust, let me know. I would be willing to make a deal. It is still brand new and I am willing to ship it anywhere.

I had Akrapovic Evolution on my previous BMW M3.
Akrapovic quality is superior to any aftermarket exhaust systems. It should be hang in a living room on a wall not getting dirty under the car. Worth any $ if you are after piece of machinery art.
I loved the way it made S65 engine sound although it added a bit of drone at idle. It also weights like 26kg less than OEM system.
Having said that you will get one only for the reasons mentioned above. Performance wise the gains are negligible. I measured the car with dynojet (IMHO the most accurate way of checking performance of your car's engine) before and after installation.
Gains were something around 6HP at the peak power RPM which is actually close to measurement error.
A guy that lives from manufacturing exhaust systems for not only street cars actually told me before that I should not expect any real gains...
I don't think that there is much left on the table by Porsche when if we are talking about power increase of this engine.

Was this the full Evo system including the x-pipe? Sounds like just the rear. Even without going to a dyno it was remarkable how much taking out the primaries and having just the high flow secondaries let the engine breathe. You can feel the results right away. I did the same before and after and I picked up 20-22 hp (without any kind of tune.) I just took mine off and again you can really feel it. There are just too many results from different users and dynos that show gains of 20-30hp to say it doesn't make a difference. Hell just take out the primaries and leave everything else stock and you will see close to 15-20hp gains. A little OT...
I do admit that I felt the car was more responsive, stronger and revved up more freely but now I have to admit that it was more of placebo effect. The car sounded beautifully and was much noisier.
It is the higher noise that makes people believe that their car got some power gains and frankly speaking by freeing exhaust you loose some of the torque at lower rpms. With M3 that was actually quite a lot up to 2500rpm. People called this problem Akra dip
Later on I had a chance to compare my car head to head with stock M3s on a racetrack. Pulling hard from corners my car was not any faster than stock.
I am not saying that this is a bad system. Just for the weight gains and sound it is worth any money and hopefully one day I will convince myself to waste like 12k EUR to get one for my car.
Just speak to experts about power gains by installing exhaust to performance engines like Porsche GT3, M3 (S65 only!), Ferraris, etc. Results are same like ECU tuning (for NA engines none). It is just another market area you can pull big bucks from

no cats, our cars only make more power with sport cats 200cpi vs oem 400 cpi, or without cats. even a tune won't help much.

I had Evolution not slip-on. It was the full system with 200cell cats.
