What tools do you take on a road trip?
I was wondering what tools people pack when venturing out of town? My main concern is if I get a flat, is the local tire shop going to have the tools to remove the CL wheels?
At a minimum one should bring (in addition to what is already in the car, namely the CL removal tool) a CL alignment tool and CL grease. A puncture repair kit and at least one jack pad too. Anything else?
Any other non tire change related tools?

I had a flat with my new GTS just 5 miles from the dealer on my way home after buying the car. I picked up a piece of steel and flatted the right rear tire. The tire warning system saved my rim as I got to the road side just in time. I used the GOO and it worked even with a fairly large hole. I drove another 5 miles home and put the car up on jacks. The Goo oozed out all over the back of my car and inside the wheel well but the tire held pressure and the Goo cleaned up with no problem. The dealer didn't have a tire and I waited three days to get one. This will always be our problem, you have tire rack in Reno so that will help providing your not in Winnemucca. Bare bones tools for any tire shop would be CL tool and jack pad. There is an emergency proceedure for no torque wrench. Blown tire get a flatbed.

SmokinGTS was on the right track -- thinking really remote locations. It may come to a surprise to many, but some places in Nevada, Utah, etc., don't even have cell service along major roads. So with that in mind, what do you bring? Imagine the kind of tow service you're going to get here?
