Default The PTS RS quandry...

Sure, get the exterior color you want... No matching/complementary interior stitching or interior parts. Take the launch color car with MF magma interior pieces.....can't beat that for this car....

Ridiculous they can't at the very least match the stitching to ones preference. I wanted Yellow to go with belts and PCCB's myself.

I can't get the matching interior with Ultraviolet and not sure I would want to, so PTS was an easy decision.

Assuming the PTS request is approved - I will probably switch it to painted interior and go with the black/black with silver stitching. If I end up being stuck with UV, I'll probably still go black/black but stick with the carbon trim.

And make the exterior yellow too. Yellow with black on the RS makes yellow jacket rs.....I would be game with yellow interior stitch....

Yeah, I tried. And tried. No matter what I do, they insist they'll never allow any other colored stitching (other than silver and orange).

I wanted yellow stitching and seatbelts with my Maritime Blue.

Going to have to do silver stitching.

Yeah, makes me very sad. It's easier to do stitching than PTS exterior colors... Just change the thread.

Paint, on the other hand? You have to worry about how it'll turn out on different surface materials.

It's just laziness, in my opinion.

On the other hand GL if we end up with Maritime then the silver stitching on the standard interior should look OK .

Hey guys I have a guest ion though... I just checked http://www.gt3rsregistry.com/VINs.htm. From what I see the pts option didn't appear until 2011. Since the 997 rs was released in 2007 and didn't get pts until 2011, does that mean we have to wait a few years to get that pts. I don't think I can't that long, Sigh.

We need for Eduardo to chime in but I have heard that Porsche has a brand new paint facility just for PTS. From what I hear they will step up PTS production. Keep your fingers crossed..

Agreed. I'll be "fine" with it. I'd much rather have yellow deviated stitching with Maritime, but I'll take silver and will still be happy (since I got Maritime).
