The car is beautiful in plain vanilla, I agree with you.
However, I wanted this "racing" touch and thought the checkered flag would do well. It does in real life. A matter of taste in any case. Like the colour.

Indeed, lighter than Mexico and much lighter than Maritime or Vodoo. Both colors suits her well like many colors by the way.
Not discreet though but who cares really. To be discreet better to go for a Kia, right ?

This coming week, I am going to break her in a bit more. 1'300 Km in sight + the 400 Km I have already will almost make 2'000 Km. Porsche recommend 3'000 Km though. I'll soon reach them and then climb the 9'000 Rpm peak.
Tough exercise my friends and I touched twice 5'200 Rpm by mistake.

Agree. It was taken with my IPod and when downloaded on the forum it looks weird. No clue why. On my computer it's perfect.
