The LWB seats are an abomination. They are uncomfortable while driving and very difficult to get in and out of. Also, the seat back is wide. I weigh 165 lbs and found myself being jostled side to side. My 4 ways seats are infinitely more comfortable and provide all the needed support for track work.
That said, the LWB do look much better and APPEAR better suited for the car.
If you were unhappy with the bucket seats just create a post here in the 991 GT three sub forum on and you will find somebody willing to trade with you with in minutes. You might even make a little cash on the deal knowing how many people want them
Cheaper to wrap it than to spend $15k on buckets after! I would pick buckets! And wrap it 5 times in all different PTS colors!😄😄😄
EXACTLY! Plus the wrap has the added benefit of protecting whatever paint is chosen. Seats have a high resale value. If you don't like 'em or don't want 'em - sell them and put in whatever aftermarket seats you prefer and put the difference in your pocket.
If I were buying the car to keep for many years, and really hated all the standard color choices I still would probably get factory paint and wrap it. That way I can change the color if I tire of the wrap, and the paint beneath is still perfect.
I got my GT3 delivered Today and the LWBs are just awesome! What a difference these seats do to the look of this car! And I found them very comfortable!

Have any plans on removing the pillows?
I am not sure.. I will leave them alone for now. I am more a "stock guy".
