Default For those that stream bluetooth audio: any way around the loud radio at start-up??

For those of you like me who opted for no roof wart since they plan to stream all of their audio over bluetooth, have you found a solution to the loud radio at start-up?

Since bluetooth connectivity isn't available instantly once you start the car, the PCM seems to default to the radio. That would be one probably by itself, but it is compounded by the fact that the radio is LOUDER than the bluetooth audio stream (even with the phone turned up to max), so when I crank up the audio while I'm listening to bluetooth, then turn off the car, then come back, the radio is BLASTING when I start the car.

Extremely annoying. One solution is to turn the volume down every time I stop the car. But how ridiculous is that?

Yes, I know some will say forget the audio and listen to the motor, but I daily drive my car and do have to sit in a bit of traffic sometimes, so I always crank up the music at some point on the drive.

A few searches point out that this problem has existed for years, and I haven't stumbled upon any clear solution to it.

Even if I could just figure out how to raise the bluetooth audio volume that would go halfway towards improving the problem, but only the AUX and iPod volumes can be adjusted independently in settings (not AUX-BT).

Any of you guys solve this issue?? Thanks!

Have you specifically used Bluetooth audio from your phone, then shut the car off while the audio was playing, then come back and starters the car and had it default to the radio at a higher volume? Please try this and if it doesn't happen, please report back.

Same problem and it's usually worse after listening to The Monday Morning Podcast (Bill Burr-check him out) I make sure to keep my radio on country music because it usually isn't as loud as other stations. It might be worth trying to set your fm dial to a station that isn't used in your local area. yeah... this is annoying!

This happens in my other vehicles also....My guess is the only way to combat it, and what I do in my other vehicles, is to remember to turn the volume down before you get out of the car....

I had the same problem until I made sure the volume was turned up on my phone in the particular application I'm using. For example, if I'm using Spotify, I turn the volume up all the way when I'm in that app. My iPhone remembers that setting when I go back to that app. Not sure why that doesn't work in your case (and others it appears).

Maybe this goes away with the phone module option?

You don't have the radio switching problem, or just no loudness problem?

Just hold down the volume button for a few seconds, the PCM system will turn off and not turn on until you turn it on again.
