Not to hijack thread, but how do i get my air-conditioning to stay turned off when the car starts. It always turns on at 70 degrees. If i turn it up or off then get back in the car, its on again. driving me crazy

I use Android OS, with a Google Pixel 3 XL currently (Google's latest, and flagship, model) and also experience Bluetooth abnormalities. Mine lay most often with stuttering audio playback. The only device I own which has issues is my 991.1, none other... Very annoying.

My solution is to delete the pairing in the phone and car, and re-pair. This is a weekly affair *sigh*

It is always going to turn it back on. If you selected to turn the actual AC compressor off, that will remain off. But the fan will always turn back on.

I have my Samsung S9 paired to my GT4 which is the previous PCM and to the '17 Macan which has the updated PCM. I use BT in both vehicles.

No issue with stuttering, but there are times when Bluetooth services are connected for phone calls but not media. Instead of pairing the device again, try toggling specific Bluetooth media options off and on to see if that helps. It might not, but worth a try.

Default Bluetooth streaming

For those who are on PCM 3.1 - the issue with low volume level from iPhone via BT streaming was resolved by upgrading PCM to latest firmware.

you can find ISO image here. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sV6...BXCngUn8p/view

and relevant thread for upgrade here:

I just upgraded my 2013 cayenne from 4.40 to 4.76 and it is resolved

Please tell me it now pairs to the last source it was "listening to"? Let's be honest this whole thread isn't about volume really, it's about wtf does the PCM connect to a different source than it was just listening to?

Hold the volume button down. The screen will shut off and remain off till you turn it back on

Have you tired the auto memory function? If on it's supposed to retain settings, including PCM settings, when you start the car the next time. I have not tired it but fought with it in the past regarding other settings.
