Thanks Jamie! I'm new to it, but have really fallen for it now! BTW, I'm glad you were able to do PTS on your stunning car. If you were to option PTS on your upcoming RS, do you have something else special up your sleeve this time around?

(I'll compress my replies, since this thread already has more posts by me than I wanted. No disrespect intended or implied by not replying individually!)

It was fun to look it all up. Over the last couple of years I've compiled a few photos and fun facts, and thought it might be easier to keep it all in one place! Thanks for reading through my rather long-winded review!

Thank you Nate. You've got quite the collection and I'm sure I'll be living vicariously through you when your next one gets here!

AFAIK, mine may be the (one of the?) first GT car(s) in this colour, and I've heard there are more coming. In fact, Eduardo hinted at some news about "PTS 'Fashion Grey' gt3's...as in plural" so maybe there are several in the pipeline. I'm happy to be one of the bunch! Thanks for your interest and kind words!

A big congrats. My first thoughts regarding the colour was "very classy", love it.

Thanks! I was a little worried it might be too elegant at first, but now I think it's one of the more modern, technical-looking (does that even make sense?) historic colours, especially when on the GT3. I guess the GT3 makes every colour look so much more spectacular!! Doesn't hold a candle to the pop of RY, though!

What a great color! I see you got them to do the marker on the steering wheel, how did you spec that?

Is that the same grey which is on the current Audi RS5?

Wow... Love it. The satin finish wheels & yellow accents look great against the grey.

Love the 993TTS too! I believe that is a rare sunroof delete car.

Amazing intro. Great job.

The color gives the amazing car a very modern, contemporary, clean, and sleek look. Compliments the design and the fine German engineering.

The star is the car and not the color.

Very German inspired in my opinion.

You might need a modern home to go with the car if you don't already have one!

Nope, just one of the usual (and predictable) suspects.

Thanks to all who've read and commented. I didn't expect so many nice posts, and I feel bad if I don't reply to each but don't want to hog this thread. A couple quick answers only then...

Couldn't agree more, and thanks! As it turns out, we live in a 1927 house that looks fairly traditional. Ask any 5-year old to draw a house and that's pretty much it! I do love mid-century modern and bauhaus design though, and we've done our best to add some pieces of furniture from this era.

Thanks, and the steering wheel marker was courtesy of Melissa Witek and Matthew Henry at Porsche Exclusive. Took a little time to do the formal testing to ensure a yellow (as opposed to the already approved red) marker stripe would be ok. But we got there! I haven't seen another one in yellow on a 991 GT3 yet.

Not sure which grey you mean on the RS5 (Nardo?), but I'm fairly sure this is not the same colour grey, even if it reads the same in some photos. It is a light to medium non-metallic grey, and I feel it looks good on a lot of modern cars, even though it was from the 1950s. What's old is new!!!

Not my 993, but it was quite the beauty! And yes, thank you, I liked the satin platinum wheels best, although I waffled a lot on black for its more modern, aggressive look. As for the yellow, I tried to keep it consistent, but fairly limited (just seat belts, steering wheel marker stripe, and calipers).
