Default 19" wheels over PCCB

Thought you guys might be interested in this. Was dropping car off for oil change and they were working on this really sweet blue 991. Putting cup mono ***** everywhere and balancing, etc.

The kicker were these HRE wheels, they look REALLY nice, aggressive motorsport type wheel, the inner bead mount is knurled too to keep tires from slipping, and are 19" and fit over the PCCB setup:

I wonder if the RS will work with 19" all around or better to stick to 20"..

Wow I need to see these. Can't wait to hear how these do on the track. Will the rotors touch? not much room to play with...

I saw your car when I was getting my pipes installed. It's absolutely perfect.

Yeah, they showed me the replacement hardware that frees up enough room in the barrel to squeeze the 19's in. I'm wondering if they'll be able to fit a set of 3 piece wheels...

I spoke with BBI about this earlier..

We had HRE make a custom set of wheels for us after taking measurements. To make them fit, we had to do the following:

In the rear, we changed the bolts in the control arms.
In the front, we had to upgrade to our adjustable thrust arms and bushings from our BBI Street Cup suspension package:

rotors won't touch before calipers do. i didn't look that close on the car but it would be tight i'm sure

Thx! It's a lot of fun. Hope to see chocolate thunder (love that name) out at the track!

We're hoping a 19" setup is possible but we won't know for sure until June.

More details:

Front: HRE R101 Satin Black 19x9.5 Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R 265/35/19
Rear: HRE R101 Satin Black 19x12 Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R 325/30/19

Below are also some photos of the GT3 with the R101s in action at Willow Springs earlier this week (thanks to Jason Zammit of PCALA for the photos). This car, in addition to BBI, will also be at Sunday's PCAOCR-AutoX at El Toro if anyone is interested in seeing it perform in person. We will also have more photos to document the fit and overall look of the wheels on the car next week.

As always, if anyone has any questions, please let us know!

CC classes are not worth the Arms Race...... That is why I stick with Street Stock. Kind of like one design sailing.
