I got the lightweight us millworks quick release with 2 cotter pins setup.

Default Keep the plate in the trunk....
I keep the plate and the mounting bracket in the truck and when pullet over I say that I just got the bracket and I am getting it installed next week.

It usually satisfies him.....

Small Town cop got me for no front plate! Heard the car roaring past him, did not have his radar ready, had to give me a warning for something
I will order the usmillworks and leave it in the fronk in case I get pulled over again.

I just got a no front plate citation on wends at 630 am before the sun came up in mt airy MD.



Like rob posted, it's not a moving violation, it's just a fine so it doesn't affect your insurance.

Also I never have a front plate, since 2004. It's hit or miss around here. Last time I got a no front plate ticket was in 2011 iirc. It seems like they mostly enforce it on the ICC to me.

MD house bill 577 would allow us to only have a rear plate but it never passes

Got pulled over today in a remote section of Nevada in tribal lands. Immediately told my wife they were just going to check my registration as I haven't yet received my plates, and indeed this was the case. One officer had some knowledge of Porsches and asked about the RS! Very polite and professional. Just curious I suppose.
