In my mind there is no question, get the GT3. Turbo's will always be out there. Turbo's are, dime a dozen and their resale value will drop much faster. This could, [I said could] be the last NA and it will always go down as a 9000 rpm car and we may never see that again. If we polled for both GT3/Turbo, pro's/cons....you know what the results will be.

I have owned 996 & 997TT's and now on my second 997GT3, although I realize that the article refers to the latest iteration. I wouldn't discount either Porsche. Both great machines.

Both are great cars obviously. For me GT3. No question.

Had the same question in December. Offered both cars. Turbo S was more expensive and a better daily driver for the city IMO. Its also more refined and better stereo (with Burmeister). GT3 is also amazing and it is certainly better for the track but I have an Italia that I track. GT3 has no back seats which was the deal breaker for me given I use it as a daily driver and occasionally have to put my kids in back. My hope is to keep my Turbo S for a daily and get the new RS for a possible replacement for my Italia on the track.

Both great cars! Pros and cons for both obviously. For me it came down to power delivery, depreciation, stance, sound, emotion, and exclusivity. I chose the GT3.

Sometimes you have to find room for both! But if it came down to one, I would chose the GT3.

Looks like the magazine is called Total 911.
