Q removing passenger seat cushion?
Seems that there are a pair of hooks towards the rear that attach the cushion to the seat.
What is the best way to remove the cushion with LWB?
Thanks

Peel off the back cushion first. Then lift the bottom cushion from the back. Be careful not to pull off too much too fast, or the metal pin will tear out from the cushion (not a big deal if it happens, but poor form). You'll see the metal pin locked into a white plastic clip. You have to open the clip and slide the pin out. This can be a PITA. You'll need 2 needle nose pliers to do this. After the pin is out of the clip, you lift the cushion forward, and then pull off the front lip of the cushion off the front clip. Reinstall in reverse. I didn't bother reattaching the metal clip. It doesn't do anything but frustrate you.

Sorry, no pics, but pull the cushion up enough until you see the white clips from the seat tied to the cushion, use a screw driver to lever the clips open and release the cushion.
Here's what the clips look like removed.

So the only Cushion that has the metal rod is the passenger?
The drivers does not but has a Plastic channel pice that attaches/pushes to the edge of the seat.
Correct?

It's not tricky at all. Once you've eased the forward-facing edge of the seat cushion out of the seat frame, lift the front of the cushion slightly, slide your arm underneath, feel your way around and see if your plastic bracket is attached to the cable. Mine came from factory detached. In any case, the cable can easily be popped out of its bracket without much force.

^^^I really don't think that clip matters at all. I've removed cushions from two GT cars with LWB w/o any issues.

No airbag or safety system contact purposes.... those clips just add additional secured attachments for the passenger side. I used two flathead screwdrivers to carefully pry the silver metal tab (it's on the actual cushion) down, over, and up off the clips... obviously one at a time. One screwdriver was to push on the white plastic clip and the other was to push down the silver tab to get it to pop over & off the clip. And then those pair of white plastic clips remains intact and undamaged in the base of the seat.... perfect to use again when you decide to reinstall the factory butt cushion.
I removed my OEM cushions since I installed Tartans.... here's some pics to show how the factory insert attachments looks like when removed. The seat sensor is still there (on the base of the buckets) and no warning lights triggered. Just take your time, and don't force or the white plastic clips will either break or rip out.... and be patient.

Pal. I just installed the p1 design cushions and was concerned about the whole passenger seat cushion bottom removal. Turns out … it’s much simpler i thoughts. The TIP .. don’t try by pulling up the seat from the rear. There is no space to work with the clips . My ,ethos was to gently pull off the seat from the front edge ( it’s simply rolled under a plastic trim ) . The easiest way…. Slide you hand to the sides, pull up on the Velcro to loosen the front, then slide the hand forward and pull off the lip across the front. Once you have the front edge off, then lift the seat bottom up and pul back towards the rear of the cushion. You will see the two white clips on either side. I found that all I needed was a small flat head screw driver and I clipped by simply prying the clip apart and the metal rod on the seat cushion popped off! Again. My recommendations … go from the front not the rear!
