Ruf RGT 4.2

I don't think you are in the minority. It's a pretty ugly car. Then again, I personally think everything RUF has made it ugly. They have always looked like poorly modified tuner cars. Not even as good looking at TechArt parts, which don't look great either.

Yellowbird CTR?
993 CTR2
BTR12
List goes on. If you have been to Alois factory youll be surprised. RUF used 5 speed G50 in 930 platform a few years before Porsche, they pioneered use of 6 speed and Sachs EKS (which Porsche bought the patents to) as well as using twin turbos on their cars quite a few years before 993TT.
In short they are some of the most brilliantly designed and executed tuner products in the world from any marque and are a TUV approved manufacturer with their own VIN sequence. the finish of their work is a the least as good as the PAG factory. Im very familiar with their mid 90s products and regard them highly...

The aesthetics of the front bumpers are all wrong, IMO. They don't match the lines of the car (odd circular and rectangular openings). Very odd design indeed. Wouldn't want them if they were free. Just my opinion...

Mine is the opposite...I think the Rufs at the show were fantastic. While the front spoiler design is not perfect, IMO it is better than the factory effort. I don't like any versions of the 5-hole design, past or present.

Straight from the source just now.
Not quite two 991 RS-- more like approx $80k over the cost of a nicely specced RS.
The RGT's aesthetics aren't for everyone I'm sure, but aside from the 6-spd manual, it comes with something else purists may appreciate: there's a Mezger out back

If money were no object, I would have that CTR3 in a heartbeat! You could lose the Hippie paint job--I'd take it in plain white, please. It's a freaking modernized street-legal GT1--I'd give my left nut for it! Mid-engine, 750HP, 3,000 lbs., sequential 6-speed, space frame and tubular chassis, beautiful body--costs a little more than half of a 918. What's not to like about it (except it really DOES cost more than two 991 GT3RS)?
