More Pics of Thermal
First pic is the shade tent at the start finish line and entrance to the track. They have a 50 inch flat panel that posts your lap times instantly. You come in, pull under the tent. You then get a ice cold wet towel and bottle water handed to you, they check your tire pressures, adjust as needed while you review your times and/or go over AIM Solo data. Drake my coach is the bearded one. Very cool.
Second pic is the storage garage for member and club cars. Once members get their garages built it will be mainly for the club cars. Some crazy cars in there. Someone also had a BAC Mono.
Third pic is my car on a lift in the shop having my wheels rebalanced since my weights fell off. They secured the new ones nicely.
Fourth pic is the tent again.

For now, we need to confirm our skill level and whether we want instructors in order to schedule around our ability. James is really making an effort to individualize this for us and is paying attention to our needs by getting an idea how to suit the track day based upon our skill level. Thanks James!
Dave, great pics, really gives a good idea what to expect and you're right, this looks like it's going to be a real treat.

I've received received a request that we start a group email. If you are in our group of 15, please forward your email address to Jim via forum PM system. This will insure James is receiving your email information and can compare to the group of 15 and not from someone who is not on that list.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hey Guys,
As I am working on the logistics and schedule for the Thermal Track Day on April 3rd, and working with the list of GT3 owners planning on coming, it appears as though there are 2 groups of drivers.........so for this event, I would like to limit it to the beginning drivers with little to no experience vs the more seasoned drivers as this event will include some driving instruction and basic car handling and braking exercises.
Right now, we will be running the lower South Palm course in the morning and I am working on running the full course in the afternoon............but for this purpose, let's just plan on the South Palm course for now.
If you decide to not attend the event and want to wait for the next scheduled track day, please email me asap so I can move people up the list who are on the wait list.
Thanks,

It would be nice to do a two day thing Thursday night, Friday track day, Friday evening, dinner and drinks, crash and check out Saturday.

Anyone got hotel plans set up? I am going to be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Indio for a day at Chuckwalla on Monday. Looks like its pretty close to Thermal.

Thank you GMG for making this happen. I'm sure it's gonna be a good time.
