Count me in and would like to share an instructor. Thank you both!

Man this sucks! My car is due 3/27 and then I have to take it to have all my GMG equipment installed so I'll just miss it! I would load up and haul out there for that. Next time!

In for intermediate. Have quite a bit of track time, but it will be my first time in this car.

Have you run the new pavement? The two tracks combined are a lot of fun and way more interesting than the initial layout

I think James will have to answer that, I'm not sure if it would create an issue.

Let's save the 918 for a pure exotic day......La Ferrari's, MP1's and 918's!

You know whenever I start one of these, I always try to invite everyone, on Rennlist, 6speedonline Porsche preferred but not required. Unfortunately, this is a private track and, they are as much wanting to cater to potential members as much as we're interested in checking them out as well.

As James posted, he will be setting up additional track events for 997 GT3 owners as well as exotics. Needless to say, there was no intention to exclude owners or Rennlist members but the reality is that this event is a marketing event of sorts. And, as you can see, classes of cars are being parsed out. Even the poor 918 owner will have to miss this one and that should reflect a sense that this is not a cliq or elitism thing.

I hope to see you next week on our Canyon Run without any hard feelings and that you are able to make it to another track day set up by James in the near future.

Pretty ignorant comment not knowing who they are or what experience they have. But that's what forums are all about. Ignorance

Two spots are presently reserved. Ideally, we'd like to have this open to two groups, the novice/intermediate and the seasoned/veterns. This will be my first track day so, I'm hoping to share that with other newbies and not just be the sole slow guy on the track. There's was quite of bit of demand from So. Cal. folks who were on our first run for me or someone to set up a track day. Somehow, we have the good luck that this just fell in to place. This is a private club and, we're fortunate to have someone who is able to set up this invitation only event for us. James will provide us with further details regarding pricing, logistics and format. I'm hoping there will be instruction in advance. I hope James will also provide us with insurance information and further discussion will take place in this thread. The invitation is limited to 15 so, if you're interested, please post here. Also, I expect this will fill up pretty fast. So, please only request a spot if you are definitely in. 1. HFM Dan (share private instruction) 2. vf430 Vinod P (vet) 3. Road Racin Trevor 4. mdkim 5. Duster 6. Ryan W 7. Stefan R 8. Anthony P 9. nlpamg 10. Ipse Dixit Robert (share private instruction) 11. Jim Sand (share private instruction) 12. Calopolo 17 13. 14. 15. I am in!

Where's the love?

Props to any organizers of events like these. When you take the initiative, you get to set the rules.

The 918's will be charging at home ready for the next one...

This looks sweet! Damm, I would love to do this but my work schedule will not allow! I'll be out there 3 weeks before for two days of one on one coaching from this guy, Drake:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1085829

I'll report back on the experience.

Perhaps he will be one of the coaches on April 3.

Wow, really cool thing for the guys at GMG to organize. Count me in for the next one.

I'm in if there's still a spot available. Will bring the 991 as the 997 will be in the shop getting repaired after being hit by another Viper this past weekend. Vipers don't like me apparently. (I even owned one once, and the engine grenaded on the way up Palomar Mtn.)

I'd also be interested in that "exotic" day if it comes to pass.
