Regarding beating my new car on the ring- I think it would be unfair to drive it for a lap time with such low miles - perhaps I'll consider renting a track car.

Its seems a safety concern that the track is full of tourists however...
I have euro delivery planned for April 10 th in Leipzig. I wanted track time with the GT3 in a controlled environment. I had the ring planned but after consideration and time on youtube, I decided it was not worth the risk.
There is a lot of accidents that happen that are not your own doing on the ring.

I am surprised you can even choose so late in the process. Leipzig is so fully booked. I ordered a Macan Turbo one year ahead and was still declined. I am taking delivery of my turbo S cab at Zuffenhausen next month and I was also told Leipzig needed 4 months notice.

Drop at zuffenhausen - best option.

I would really recommend a couple of laps on the ring. Or at least one. It's not like you are going to go fast anyway. Even with 50 laps on the ring you are still a rookie. So just enjoy it and tick it of your list.

Nothing to prove at the Ring but smaller tracks like Spa etc could be kinda figured out in a couple of track days. At least you know how the track feels opposed to just seeing on TV.

I'll be at the Ring 17,18 and 19 April.
If you want I can show you the track.
