I did the factory model delete and left the PORSCHE badge. The 997 GT3 emblem would be the way to go if you delete the PORSCHE scripting, but the 991 GT3 logo is too small to use by itself.

I did the 997 Badge on mine as well.

That is perfect. Well done.

At least this tells us how to align our 997 badges, now:

Or maybe we should just buy 991 GT3RS badges and omit the RS? Looks tiny like the 991 GT3 size.

I am sure Suncoast can get you an older badge which will be larger and you can have it painted any color you wish

Anyone do the 997 GT 3 badge in red on the 991 white car?
I am thinking about it.

Jimmy-D 03-02-2015 05:26 PM

Sam for TX I think did his in red - looks pretty cool

I like it..better than GT3 alone.

I arrived at this post looking for advise on license plate frames. So I was surprised to see all the discussion on deleting Porsche scripting, but still leaving the scripting on the license plate frames.

Oh $132 is Chump Change compared to what Porsche charges for either Painting or Putting Leather on the A/C or the A/C's Slats - $1,720. Just for paint alone. I can understand leather costing more which for some reason and somehow it does not. And get this the Options are not Available at the same time, in conjunction with the other. You can only have one option and not the other. Now that is just backasswards silly. "Sure we will Paint the A/C surrounding so you can see where they are at but we haven't figured out how to paint the slats at the same time". Now that is just Screwball, plain and simple.

Looks nice/clean.

I ordered a 997.2 GT3 Badge and the 991 GT3RS graphic. Obviously I would not apply the RS. There's no more room in this forum for posers ;-) I will see what looks better.

TRAKCAR 05-20-2015 04:21 PM

At least they fixed it on the RS

Keep us posted. And thanks for sponsoring this poser-riddled forum!

I get the sense that the .2 badge is larger and fills the space better. Please let us know how they compare.
