Unless you're a 918 buyer, nobody knows what pricing is. I just spoke with my dealer yesterday (which sold 11 918's thus far). They are the 12th top selling in new Porsche car sales yearly, and even they have no info on pricing. And also said unless you bought a new 918, your chances of getting an RS are slim to none.

My dealer, who's a straight shooter saw no issue in me getting one when we spoke yesterday. I spoke to another dealer who I know that isn't maintaining a list, expects atleast two and is looking for a premium.

Did your dealer who said your chances are slim offer you one for a premium?

Yeah.. I guess cash is king in the end. But would you agree they'll be paying a huge premium to get one....
Unless you're a 918 owner of course.

Makes sense for a dedicated track car to squeeze some better lap time performance. However, to use for a split DD for me makes no sense with the suttle increase in performance. Now with that said I would pay MSRP not a cent more based on the listed reasons. I was told the car will list around 185k minus options. RS long term us always a good move, but I'm more than happy with my GT3 all around. 2000 miles and I smile each time I'm behind the wheel.

The 997 .1 and .2 RS's held their value better but the pricing premium is now larger. I think it comes down to numbers, which we don't know.

No he did not. He is only a salesman there, so maybe I need to go higher up the food chain perhaps...

997.1 RS at least is not increasing value like limited 997.2 RS did

so is this 991 RS a limited prod or not? So far seems not
every P dealer will get from 2 to 5 RS each one in 2015
2016??

How many P deaker worldwide?

Not really accurate. Run up in .1 vs .2 rs has been very similar $ wise.

pure speculation, but they'll number them like the 997 4.0... why not.. not numbered they can ask 200 and get it.. numbered they can ask 300 and get it.. why not increase your profits exponentially more while still retaining brand value and demand.,.

the new G500 4x4-2 is 280k... why? because they can... and im sure gonna sell out instantly.

i see the car being 250k and numbered and sick as **** and selling for 300..
